It would everyone something they could use for relationships that don't fit into the existing categories, and I think that would be fair. This community strives to be inclusive, even if much of the rest of the world isn't. I want everyone to feel they have a safe space here, so I think I'll add the tag.

I appreciate your inclusive intentions. My concern was that type: other might feel othering rather than inclusive. But as a cisgender person, I truly do not feel it's my call to make. As you are the community moderator, I'll respect your judgment.

I don't know either. I wish I knew more LGBTQ+ people so I could ask because the last thing I want is to make anyone feel othered... Now I'm not sure if I should remove the tag or not... It's a tricky issue, wanting to promote inclusivity without offending the people I want to feel included.

I am grateful for your good intentions. Perhaps leave the tag unless someone comments or has another suggestion?

To me it seems one of the most important things for people to do. Kindness, respect, inclusivity, it all matters so much. People need to be better to each other.
