Questions and Suggestions
Here's where you can ask any questions, make suggestions for future prompts, request community affiliation or ask to pimp your community or fest.
Please be patient if you don't get an immediate reply - I'm sole owner and mod at present, and I'm taking part in a lot of other writing challenges, plus I do need to sleep occasionally ;)
Anyone interested in becoming a co-mod, please leave a comment below.
Also, anyone who would be interested in creating a community icon or two, please reply below, because I really do need something to pretty the place up! I'd like a general community icon and a community mod icon, I think.
Tag requests should go on the Tag Requests post.

If multiple drabbles are put in one post, does each one need its own header (if they're not part of one story)?

It's also perfectly okay to use a 'choose not to warn' designation. I'm not going to be jumping down anyone's throat over warnings, I'm mostly leaving it to the writers' discretion.
With such short snippets there's little room to be horrifyingly graphic anyway. Coming up with the rules, I borrowed and adapted bits from other communities, so the warnings section is probably a bit of overkill and a lot less important than potential spoilers.
You're welcome, I just wanted somewhere drabblers of all fandoms could have fun writing, so I hope you're enjoying yourself with the prompts!

It's FFFC - we are at LJ for quite a while already but think it's about time to expand a bit. Now all we need is to get some users who are willing to play ;)

Go ahead and pimp away =) Please label you post Community Pimp: and the community name, so members can see it clearly. I'll add a community pimp tag too. That way pimping posts will be easier to find.
I might even join myself... Not sure I can fit any more challenges into my schedule though o_O

This may be a dumb question, but is NSFW/NC-17 rated content allowed?
no subject
Yep, bring it on! There's even a tag for explicit content, so smut-hounds can find such choice snippets! We cater for everyone here, I want writers to feel free to go in whatever direction prompts take them, any fandom, any genre, any rating, just let your muses loose and have fun.

In fact, if it's easier for you to post straight to AO3 and just post a header here with a link to your drabble, that's fine too.
I've tried not to make things too complicated, and the rules are more basic guidelines than anything else because the aim of this community is to give people a relaxing place where they can drabble in comfort without getting stressed over whether or not they're doing it right.
Have fun!

If you want to affiliate with my other community,
Ummm, how do I add affiliates to the community profile page? I've seen it done elsewhere, but such things confuse me.

Pretty much anything goes, to be honest. I want this to be a relaxed place for people to drabble as much or as little as they want. I don't even strictly adhere to deadlines, posting a day or three late won't get you kicked out. The rules are more guidelines that anything, I just swiped them from other communities and adapted them.
Feel free to ask about anything that's not clear.
Happy drabbling!

continuous story through drabble challenges?
I just had the idea of writing multiple drabbles for multiple challenges as one continuous story? For example I'm doing some of the prompts for amnesty week and the first drabble I wrote is 100 words long and horrifically incomplete theme/plot-wise.
Aka: I would write a drabble for one prompt, 100 words, then move onto another prompt and another 100 words but 'continue on' the plot or from even the same scene so to speak. That's probably getting outside of the spirit of a drabble but again, I thought I'd ask what you thought just in case haha. Even if this might only be a thing for amnesty or for a different challenge community altogether.
I don't even know if I'd post one of these, if I even did it, but again, thought I'd ask. <3
Re: continuous story through drabble challenges?
I believe there's one author who's been doing something similar from the start, continuing her story with each new prompt.
I just post the prompts, how people use them is up to each writer to decide.
Have fun!

Maybe I'll make every 5th Amnesty round two weeks long... I did that for Challenge 100, and this is 150, so...
I will endeavour to remember to post a new prompt on Saturday.

Also (for future drabbles, especially the amnesty ones). Can I post those to my account before I put them up here? I don't want to have a huge backlog of prompts to format and post, it'd make it easier for me if I already had the post ready on my own journal...
...this is also me assuming that I can work on amnesty prompts (but not post them) outside of the actual amnesty week.......... is that allowed?

Posting to your journal and leaving a header and link here is fine, and you don't need to restrict writing for amnesty to the Amnesty weeks, you can write whenever and just post links here during the amnesty week. You can also put several headers and links into one post if you have a lot to link to. instead of making individual posts for each one.
You'll find there are very few (if any) restrictions around here; I just want people who enjoy drabbling to have fun with the prompts.
Go forth and drabble!

I scrolled the comments and I don't think I've seen this asked before... hopefully I didn't miss it.
During amnesty weeks is it allowed to use multiple prompts in one single work?
For example, I have a double drabble that fits 2 of the past prompts.
Can I use both or should I choose just one of them?
Thank you in advance, have a nice day. :)
