Somehow it didn’t feel quite right, clearing up a house where the occupants had left hurriedly for the hospital.  But still, a sale was a sale, and she’d be silly not to make the effort.  And anyway she’d been the one to bring the pot plant to cheer the living room up, so they couldn’t complain if she moved the brown paper which had been around it.  And the blanket would look much better on the sofa rather dropped on the floor.  As for the wrapping paper from what had presumably been a present; nobody would want to keep that.
