How about I do fandom: lord of the rings (book) and fandom: silmarillion (book), that way I can have a separate tag if anyone wants to write based on the movies.

That sounds excellent to me! I just didn't want to take up too many tags if you'd prefer it a different way, so I offered the other way. Thanks!

Yay! Should I be able to see the tags to use them now? Because I'm probably just overlooking them, but I can't find them to use.

Sometimes they don't become available until the mods (namely me) use them, so go ahead and post with whichever tags you can see, and I'll add the others. after that, they should be available for future usage.
